Swinging to His Beat | My Morbid Mind
Swinging to His Beat

She swings
in a small circle.
She hits every beat of the music in the room...

He smiles
a small grin.
He wipes bloody hands on a clean white towel...

Her head is cocked in a curious way
Her body still moving...
It was her final dance for him

His heart swells as her body comes to a stop
His smile grows
It would be awhile till he had something
like what she had given him.

He sets down the bloody white towel by her feet.
She has closed eyes
He kisses his hand then sets it on her head.

Her blonde hair falls to the side,
Her curious looking necklace not moving at all
Her lips open slightly in a silent scream...

Why oh why...
Did he hang her by the orange extension cord?

Her body stopped swinging
coming to a dead stop...

He walked away from her body,
smile in place
