Nostalgia | A Thousand Thousand Eyes | And If I Die Before I Wake... | Angel Tears | Screaming in Silence | Smooth Lies | What is Hope? | Falling Into Nothing | Twilight's Harmony | Untitled | Tuesday, September 11th, 2001 | Heartbeat | Messiah

Empty eyes, seeing nothing, all watch, stunned
Helpless, hopeless, watching the world below
Heat, fire burning into charred, lifeless flesh
The world spins
And falls
Death screams ring in unhearing ears
Regret
Pain
Despair
Fear
Fear
Fear
Hearts pounding
Feet running
Running out of time
The world falls
Brick by brick
Crashing down
To ruins
No more
No more hope
No more joy
No more life
Families walk away,
Their hands
And hearts
Empty

I actually wrote this the Thursday after the famous incident. I was given time in class to write, to draw, to do whatever, and I came up with this. It wasn't really until then that it really hit me what had happened.

I also have the picture I drew with it - it's in the Spilled Ink section of my website. Or at least, it will be if I can get the computer to work and put it up.
